A female figure dressed in white was bound to a large wooden stake surrounded by news paper articles and other media. With a one hour time frame the audience were directed in turns to wind orange rope around the captive woman.

Blurring the line between symbolic theatre and real life actions, the work explored the relationship between spectacle and complicity. Time and again the performance would have to be stopped to prevent the performer being suffocated by overly enthusiastic participants.
